Lightning Training Solutions offers Outdoor First Aid Courses to a variety of groups, including Forest Schools Leaders, Geologists, Outdoor Workers and Teachers or Instructors running Duke of Edinburgh. Our trainers come with extensive experience in dealing with incidents outdoors.

Outdoor First Aid Course

This two-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies and equips participants with the confidence to handle emergency situations efficiently and safely, even when professional medical help is not immediately available.

It also meets the First Aid requirements of the expedition syllabus for the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Duke of Edinburgh awards.

Furthermore, the content of this course complies with the HSE's requirements for Emergency First Aid at Work.

Emergency Outdoor First Aid Course

From basic life support through to the management of a variety of medical conditions and injuries. Participants will gain the skills and understanding needed to assess and manage casualties in a safe and effective manner.

Lightning Training Solutions offers a one-day outdoor emergency first aid qualification that is designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge to respond to a range of emergency situations in an efficient and effective manner when professional medical help is not immediately available.

Basic Sports First Aid Training

Our Sports First Aid training course provides all the necessary skills to respond to a wide range of sporting incidents.

Participants will learn how to assess and treat injuries, apply the appropriate first aid techniques, handle shock, perform CPR, and assess and treat head and spinal injuries.

They will gain an understanding of the different types of sport-related injuries, how to provide emergency care, and risk management and prevention techniques.

Forest School First Aid

At Lightning Training Solutions, we offer comprehensive First Aid Training that is tailored to the Forest School setting.

This training equips participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to administer First Aid in an outdoor environment.

Our Forest School First Aid Course will give you the ability to effectively manage life-saving emergencies when spending time outdoors.

Upon completion of this course, participants will have achieved a Paediatric First Aid qualification which meets the Early Years Foundation Stage practice guidance and statutory guidelines.
